My First Archery Experience

Today was the first time in my life that I've ever shot a bow. And I did really well! Me and a friend (Rellik Amenhotep) shot his bow today with the target being a basketball on a saw-horse. We shot from 15-20 yards away and were hitting it quite well and often. Being a Sagittarius and big fan of Ancient history, I find myself destined to shoot the bow and will continue to do so throughout my life. Here's to the beginning of the archer, Astinius! Moving on Up

Ahh... finally! I'm a Citizen! One of only a few things that have gone right for me in the past 11 days! The love of my life has decided to leave me, so far. Although she does not seem certain on what she wants. My troubles follow me everywhere it seems. If you need me, I'll be in the corner drinking my fill of wine. |

Champions of Olympus

The creation of the "Champions of Olympus" is under way! My brother, 2 friends, and myself have formed a team in the sport of Disc Golf. A sport influenced by Greek discus, where you throw a disc and keep scor like golf, by getting ur disc into a basket. We Champions also take up an icon of some mythical creature. My brother is Jared the Cerberus. Then there's Jake the Minotaur, Astinius Chiron, and one to be decided yet.
We are about complete, and ready to take on those who will take us. |

The Dark Side of My Heart

The sorrows that plague us all! I am usually a vibrant and sunny person, full of happiness and positivity. But this past week has tested my fortitude. Minor problems with my lover, but none-the-less, worries are tearing me apart like dry leaves in autumn. The saddest part of my tale is that tomorrow will mark the 14th month we've been together, and I'm more depressed than I am happy. In conclusion, I'd like to order myself 5 kegs of the highest quality of wine and drown my sorrows. |

Astinius Socrates

Khaire! I am Astinius Socrates of the glorious city of Athens. I am of a young age of 19 and seek all knowledge there is to be found about the Ancient Greeks.
I am an historian at heart and study daily with books that I read and facts that I can find anywhere. I have only begun my mission of enlightenment and encourage those who will to share their knowledge.
In a closing note, I'd like to mention that I feel at home here in Athens and Ancient Worlds and would like to encourage you all to leave me a message about any topic you desire!
