small notes Posted at 10:00 EST

Expectations are that the long termcalendar project will take up several years, but Bryce and myself, are very excited about it...Probably, we need to advertise it, because I'm sure there's more people interested in this subject.

The DDLM preparations are going very well. Bryce has created a wonderful header and a very solid text about what's it all about. In the meantime I've been working on the art gallery.

The yet mysterious new scribe... we'll need to throw him/her a little welcoming party....

Ask Bryce:

Colours Posted at 10:00 EST
The Americas have taken a plunge in the divine paintbath and keep changing colour every time you come back or refresh.
Thanks Bryce for this colourful idea!

Yesterday's chat Posted at 07:15 EST
With four people attending, there was plenty of room and loads of coffee being poored for the poor buggers who had gotten up so early.

Fortunately this early hour didn't stop the people from being in a good mood and to come up with some great ideas for the next mini- festival.

We came up with the following ideas:

A designer contest
A camelid scavenger hunt
A Mayan Ball

We have to go on the look-out for dance teachers and a king and queen to lead the first dance of the ball.

I am looking forward to the preparations.

Thanks folks! Posted at 08:00 EST
During my absence the city has changed much. Not that I am complaining about it, no way, the city is looking great. Many thanks to all that have contributed to it.

It's been a while Posted at 08:00 EST
It's been a while since I last took the time to scribble something in my journals, but now that I'm here, I might as well put something down on that blank paper.

Things are looking good, we've now got three scribes in the city and we have a welcoming committee. A lot of work still needs to be done for the hoods, but we will get there.

There are several groups in the city which have been inactive. Roleplay seems to be too difficult without a proper setting and structure. We still need lots of enthousiastic people to look into it, but since priority lays on the hoods, I don't think this will happen any time soon.

Metl workshop Posted at 08:12 EST
I've gathered a lot of information (oh that's such a difficult word for me to type *sg*) on the agave plant and the many different ways in which this plant was (is) used... webpage is nearly finished, only the tequila and mezcal need to be worked at.
Eleven cities tour Posted at 08:05 EST
In awe for all the ice skaters of the Netherlands... I am planning to organise a eleven cities tour for MP as well... slightly different, much less tyring, equally fun to do...

Scents of the market Posted at 13:31 EST
Today I've spend trying to make a description of what the market of Tlatlelolco could haven been like.
For this I used some of the descriptions of the Cortes, Diaz and others. But since one of my favorite books is Perfume by Patrick Suskind, I've tried to make a olfactory description...
well who knows it worked for Dinn, but of course he is biased *S*
