Beaded Mocasins
The most comprehensive exhibition of Lakota Indian art is online with nearly a thousand images dating to the 1700s.
It focuses on the "winter counts" kept by the Lakota of the Northern Plains. Extended families had their own wintercountkeepers, who consulted the elders to select the symbol and add it to the series in winter. "These are how people remembered the past.
This is an album cover of one of my favorite musicians Baden Powell, no not the boy scout leader the guitarist, and virtuoso.
Still love the sound of the bosa nova and Brazil 66.
