Welcome to the Shaolin Temple! Well, not the Shaolin Temple, but here is where I shall write more about the AW character Ng Mui Ming, her life, and her craft. The real Ng Mui will be discussed in the other rooms. However, I will be taking inspiration from what little is known of her, and her life.
 Ming Ng Mui is a student of Wu shu, or martial arts. Some call it Kung fu or gung fu, but those are more specific terms. She has studied several fighting forms and both short swords and knives, but mostly uses her body to defend and attack. Having three brothers, she had to learn to defend herself and her father taught her along with the boys, two of whom are younger than she. She tends to be rather protective of those around her and as the only daughter she can also be very nosy and her curiosity has gotten her into trouble on countless occasions!
In these tough times, it is not uncommon for Chinese daughters to study wu shu and Ng Mui fell in love with learning and performing her craft. Her father saw in her a unique ability to learn and use all the skills he taught her, eventually exceeding all her brothers' abilities.
When she was 16, she was kidnapped by a man in her village whom she had refused to marry. She escaped him, but only after he sailed with her to Japan. She has been on the run for the past five years, hiding in temples and using her skills to survive. Her father and brothers continue to search for her...so far to no avail.
