"Your Honor, I did not do these things! I have no witnesses to say that I didn't and I have never been unfaithful to my wife. Never! These people are lying! The Temple Dancer tried to seduce me! The High Priest tried to bribe me to reduce the tribute! Please I beg you, I am innocent!
"Silence!! I have heard enough!! I hereby sentence you Ngesi to death. You and your family will also be cast out of Egypt and left in the desert to die. All your property and treasury are hereby claimed by Pharaoh. Because you were Heri-tep a'a, the only provision you will be allowed will be your family tomb and the cost of embalming for you and your family. So let it be written, so let it be done."
Soldiers moved forward to take Ngesi away. Ngesi jumped up and tried to dodge them. The soldiers at the door, moved forward with spears in their hands and pointed them at him. Ngesi threw himself onto the spear and let out a blood curdling scream...
"I WILL AVENGE...."
Now that you know the story, I will add that I saw the High Priest give the Temple Dancer some coins. How do I know this? My Ka has never left this world. The only thing is, I can't do anything to overturn the judgement whilst I'm in this state. I can however, haunt and hound those who still live who contributed to my death.
High Priest... most definitely. He's at the top of the list. The Temple Dancer would probably be next. I take marriage very seriously and have never cheated! Not sure about the Judge. He only took the "facts" that were presented to him and rendered judgement from them. As much as I would like to say I'd terrorize him for all eternity too, I can't. Same with the Prosecutor. Or can I? I must admit the temptation is certainly there...
I also heard whisperings before I went to visit Pharaoh that day but took no notice. I will have to visit the new Heri-tep a'a. I am sure that he is corrupt as well. That would be another delicious temptation.
So watch out for me for if you get in my path, I will haunt and terrorize you too. DO NOT try to stop me. I am not under a curse but will put one on you if you interfere. I can't be killed as I'm already dead. I am not seeking immortality either. All I want is for the people that did this to me to suffer as my family did. To die a slow and agonising death in the desert with the sun beating down and sucking the life out of you, the scorpions stinging and insects biting as you lay there dying. To do this to a guilty man who deserved it, then yes, it would be justified but how can you do this to innocent children and a wife?
Mercy is not my middle name. They will suffer till their last breath. This is my promise...
Don't believe me? Here's the proof!
