Lover’s Dream
dreams of you that,
haunt my night
feeling your tender caress
as you slowly soothe
me, and move me to
passion
sumptuous kisses to
drown in
blown softly across my
parted lips, a spell
to set me aflame
you weave me into
your arms, and
slowly sip the cup of
passion that belongs
to you alone
in dreams you are mine
and you are
here
but in the whispered
hush of the creeping dawn,
I wake to the
futile embrace
of a lover's dream
