The SMALL DIRTY HUT of Ecfrith Wuffing -- [Entrance ] [Front Room ] [Back Room ] [The Pigpen ]   [Private Garden Closed]
Saxon4_Inside.JPG Like many Saxon homes, I have to make room for some farm animals inside...downwind, I must admit! This keeps them safe from theft and warm during our bleak winters. I am considered well-to-do with 3 hens, 1 rooster, 2 pigs and 3 piglets (which in warm weather live in the forest and eat acorn mast), and a milch cow, Hedda.
