The Domus of Orpheos Aelius -- [Entrance ] [Courtyard ] [Library ] [Study ]
Cats of Rome.jpg My Library is decidedly not for historical and academic pursuits. There are no books here--just fallen Roman columns and some friends of mine. Please feel free to browse! I have a few interests: mice in ancient societies, fish as a metaphor for existence, and birds as a feline flight of fancy. Actually, my true devotion is to piracy in the Aegean, circa 4th century. I need an eye patch and some suitable winged creature to sit on my shoulder. Anyone know how to say, "Argh, argh, argh" in ancient Greek?
