I am a Zelda fan, my love goes way back to the 80's, this is where I will blab about my Nintendo games, most especially, Zelda!

I Met Zelda

As I said back in the 80's, when it was still flat characters pretty much moving along a grid, with little bushes thrown in here and there, and Link and his dinky sword. I was smitten with the game, but never got to finish it as I only rented it but never owned it. So imagine my excitement when 64 came out and I could afford to by the newest installment of my beloved game!

Ocarina of Time

Is my all time favorite of the Zelda games, perhaps it's because of my excitement upon seeing the strides they had made in the game or just because it's down right fun. I've played and beaten it many times and yet I still find it challenging and fun. I thouroughly enjoy the mini quests and the games, searching for grottos and hunting heart pieces, going fishing and horse racing (okay not really I suck at the racing part, lol), but even the sucky hard stuff is fun.

Good Times And Bad

The game is full of twists and turns, some, I like better than ever. I was sad when the Deku tree died, but, delighted when the baby Deku popped up; and what really bummed me out was when I realized Link and Zelda wouldn't be together and that he would never remember what he did.

Love And Hate

There is one Temple I will hate with a passion in any Zelda game and that is the Water Temple...I hate em, cuss at them, and pretty much damn them to hell.

The boss in the Graveyard temple gets called every name in the book, he bounces me all over the place, I run out of magic and arrows, he just flat out sucks, he's always been the toughest boss for me, I'd rather face Gannondorf on a bad day!!

Having said that, I thouroughly enjoy the Desert Temple, I never get bored exploring it, I get a royal kick out of the witches, they never fail to amuse me. I also enjoy the Fire Temple, it took me forever to find all of the Skulltula's in there! And exploration is 80% of the fun!

Twilight Princess
My daughter's friend loaned us Twilight Princess for GC because he got bored with it. That just doesn't make sense with rational thinking, Zelda games rock! There is no such thing as a bad Zelda game, although, I can rate them from best to worst, with Ocarina of Time topping the list. I guess it's a classic to me, but number two has to be windwaker, I loved it, it was whimsical, creative and a bunch of fun! I loved sailing. But when it comes to cinematics, music and points in the right direction, Twilight Princess wins hands down!
I hate the portal dudes that you have to fight, as always I hate the water temple and the desert could have been better, I miss the hidden grottos, and I think there should have been more side games, and the howling stones...a nightmare for me, not to mention finding all those cats!
But overall it was fantastic! With some fun surprises such as Midna (you love to hate her, then find out you loved her all along)snowboarding, being a wolf and learning Zelda is more beautiful than ever, getting to row a canoe and get shot out of a cannon.
The graphics are out of this world, the music is beautiful and the graphics are wonderful. If you love Zelda games you love this, if you don't, then you'll hate it.
