Here in the Study you will find the results of my play activities!The Aplachee ball game was played against neighboring tribes with anywhere from 50 to 100 per side. The objective was to get the ball (made from clay, about the size of a golf ball, covered with buckskin) into an elevated basket. The basket can be seen faintly in the background of the picture on the left side. This game was played with great pride and sometimes resulted in the death of participants.
