HELP - - - Can anyone identify the character in the above two images??? In the bottom one, the left character appears to be using an object (pine cone?) to scrape something from the back or shoulder of the character at the right, and is collecting it in the bucket. If you have a clue, please mail me a short message.

I recently discovered a new interpretation of the activity taking place. The bucket contains a liquid and the other object is for sprinkiling the liquid. Maybe this is holy water?

Later, I am finding this: Oannes (sometimes aka Ea/Enki, son of Anu)
Quote:
"The following descriptions are taken from a history of Mesopotamia written in the third century BC by Berossus, a Babylonian priest whose work survives only in fragments recorded by later Greek historians."
found at http://www.oannes.com/.( < - link opens in a new window.)
