Triclinium

The Private Rooms of Martin Marcius -- [Entrance ] [Courtyard ] [Library ] [Triclinium ]

This is one of my triclinia. From this room you see the whole peristylium. During Summer we can close the room with an aulaeum (ok. It's only a velum). During winter we use wood doors, and the triclinium can be heated with the fireplaces of the culina.

Come in. My cook will present us some delicious meals.
If you don't stand the Falernum, you have to go HERE

On the right you see the entrance of the oecus. You may look inside when the artisans will have finished their works.
