Although I am named Bard of NiaFer, I am still in my training. I study at The Bardic College where I learn the old verse forms and the histories of my people. Until the coming of Patrick and his priests, we had no written language. All of our lore and history was committed to memory. Poetry and song are but two aids to the memorization. I work at both, that I may carry on the Bardic Traditions.
Some of my poetic efforts have been honored with awards. These I display proudly at The Boinne, where I do most of my studying and practicing.

A round tower of stone was added for protection against raiders. At a later date, two Christian abbeys were built; the White Abbey for the women, and the Black Abbey for the men. These were the beginnings of one of the oldest towns in Ireland….. Kildare.

Nope! Nothin\' to see here! Just a place to test my Billboard mapping codes before we \"go live\" at the festivals. I hate looking foolish because of a missing comma or quotes. This way, I can make sure everything is working, without everyone in AW looking over my shoulder. *G*

Cornouaille (Kernew) is the westernmost district of the Armorican peninsula and the last bastion of the Gallic Celts. The people are a hard-working and fun-loving folk as shown by the annual Festival de Cornouaille. Their capital, since the time of Gradlon, is Quimper (Kemper), once a sleepy fishing village and now bustling city of 63,000 Breton souls.
