A patricius secundus must have either 30,000 sestertii in his/her cashbox, or have been moved up sometime by a consul or the Amicus Principis. A patricius secundus is eligible to become a consul. Each patrician's vote counts as 1 during any voting. If not a consul, a patricius secundus can get into any position up to 8 fasces. In role-playing, a patricius can speak 3 languages + the number of fasces (level) he/she has been appointed. A patricius will automatically be demoted one class if he or she does not post at least monthly. See
