Virtual archaeology is the process of researching a building or other artifact and modeling it as accurately as possible in a 3D graphics program. It is the process of learning about buildings, architecture and artifacts in the context of different civilizations.

The group is intended for anyone who is new or experienced in working with 3D software. This group encourages both artistic and scientific renders of ancient buildings and artifacts and discussions of computer graphics tools and technology.
