Gladiatorial games began as a religious act, human sacrifice at the behest of king or emporer to their god's, but, as time moved on and kings and emporer's came and went the games became a source of entertainment for the masses. It was the ancient world's equivalent to reality T.V. wrapped in the cloak of religion and or tradition, this is the group to explore all of it, it is also a place to roleplay, whether your a gladiator doomed to die or the family who loved him, or whether you were the Emporer/King who felt the pressure to provide such things...This group is a little what if mixed with history and what was. Whether slave, everyday person, senator or courtesan, this is where we tell your story and mingle it with history.
