Between the Saxon Advent and the Battle of Hastings, half a millennium passed, and the nation of England was born. Angelcynn was the brainchild of Lucius Aelius "Stilo" and Heraklia Aelius, founded in 2002. It seeks to understand both how the Anglo-Saxons overcame the Britons of Romano-Britannia, and how the Vikings then, in turn, fought the Anglo-Saxons. Finally, of course, the Normans came and the Anglo-Saxon world would be changed forever. New to Angelcynn? Then enter the The Red Dragon Inn and make yourself known. Or if you have a question, request or suggestion, address the assembled folk in the Witena Gemot. Since the site was founded, a wondrous series of 'hoods has been born dealing with Anglo-Saxon England. If you have not had a chance to travel to those far lands, get your passports ready!
