Hungry ghosts roam the Orient!
Tell us a spooky tale! Hungry Ghost Month is the time of year in the Orient when all manner of ghosts from the kindgom of the dead roam the earth. It's also the time for sharing ghost stories!
Write an original ghost story, ancient or modern, or retell a folktale from any tradition in the world, just as long as it's in your own words, and as long as it's set in one of the Orient's many countries. Deadlines, Categories and Prizes
The Ghost Story Contest officially ends at midnight AWT on Sunday, August 17.
Be sure to read the Contest Rules and the AncientWorlds Code of Conduct before you post your stories on the Ghost Story Contest thread. Don't forget to sign up on this page to be eligible for the following prizes: First Prize (1) 5000 stcs Second Prize (2) 3000 stcs Third Prize (3) 1500 stcs All participants who submit a story will receive 150 stcs and a spooky plaque designed by Jia Li Shen Chi.
