LOL - I bustled over to AW this morning to remind everyone that we'll judge the contest entries this weekend - only to find that the contest had vanished! For some reason the closing date had defaulted to the beginning date of 9/1. Unfortunately, I couldn't google it precisely because I couldn't remember what we called it ;)
All is well - we'll announce winners as near to 10/1 as we can get ;)

thats what i was whining about myself far down towards the bottom of thread. I was like how can you expect good results in three days with no clear theme posted? crissakes! But no, Heraklia posted after me saying that the theme is kind of open to the artists, just have a V and goldfest in there somewhere I guess, and the contest begins September 1st and will be judged at end of september.
at least I think that's what she said. So don't stress!

I don't think I've ever seen a contest page so cluttered! LOL We keep this up, and we could probably make a ladder to the moon with all these posts by saturday. :) Hey, they should'a let us take care of Luke Skywalkers Lightsaber, we coulda got it there faster! LOL

didnt smoosh anyone else's post. Only Kallistos is rude enough. I'M KIDDING. I dont know why I fussed at Kallistos last post. I think I need my anti-jackass vitamins. I liked your graphic too Beauty. I like the big gold hand, have no clue how you made that.
CONTEST DESCRIPTION AND RULES:
Nothing could be better for Goldfest '07 than three winning graphics designs to add to our AW Store CafePress site, for T-shirts, mugs, hats, what have you. The Winners will not only win site currency but the first-place winner will win a free T-shirt from the AW Store with his or her favorite logo.
Asenath Amenhotep's winning design for the Decennalia now adorns chests 'round the world, so give it some thought and submit your designs! The requirements for CafePress graphics are set forth below, with helpful links (thank you, Bacchus!) But for the contest itself, please size a graphic for AW so we can view your design and post it on the thread GRAPHICS CHALLENGES. You must be in a position to alter the size and dimensions to conform with CafePress' requirements, IF you submit a winning entry. WINNERS will be announced on October 1, 2007 to allow sufficient time to get the graphics to the store in time for GoldfestV. Any graphics submissions to this contest, if utilized at CafePress, are understood to be the property of AncientWorlds for use in the Store. Any graphics submitted for use must be free of copyright and your own work, please! CafePress' rules are: Entries should be created in the following CafePress size requirements, THEN resized to 100kb or less to post the entry on AW: 2000 pixel x 2000 pixel @ 200dpi The Winners, will then be required to send their "CafePress sized" designs to the Demi's preferred email (heraklia@comcast.net) The following links should help you create your designs to suite CafePress requirements.
