CONTEST DESCRIPTION AND RULES: As most know, Romans did not cut down trees at Saturnalia. They decorated their homes with evergreen boughs, candles, and such, but never did they cut down trees! This does not mean, however, that they did trim the trees on their property, for they did. Most always the theme was The Sun: they trimmed the tress and plants with sun discs, family momentos and shiny baubles. ![]() ![]() Let's have some good ancient fun: choose one of these topiary, place them in your courtyard, trim them with what you deem appropriate, and the best will be chosen to recieve prizes!
