CONTEST DESCRIPTION AND RULES: A writing contest sponsored by the Ars Romana group will be held during Saturnalia Festival. A poem, role-play, essay or even a description has to be inspired by art connected to Roman culture (foreign influences and contemporary illustration gladly accepted *S* ). It has to be always connected with our major subject of discussion in the group - roman art, don't forget it- otherwise it will be excluded. You also have to show the piece (image) that inspired you. You can participate how many times you like and with as many personas as you wish. What is important is to have fun ! The judges of the contest will be Senex Caecilius, Cornellia Cornellius, Gaius Ulpius and Hecate Flaminius. The prizes are: 2500 sestercius for the first place, 1000 for the second and 500 for the first. Sign up for the event here! |
