This is it! I finally made it here. I can only wonder what I have missed and who is winning. Tis a very exciting time! The very air is pulsing.
Too long a wait!
( * dottie Curius - Sep 9, 2003 - 12:20 )
Six and a half months before I drag my stola through the stinking sewers of Rome? This is too long a wait. Oh say "Nay" to prolonging our torment this way. Surely there can be an expeditious way to break and scatter the map again. Cannot Jot look again among his scrolls and find the secrets of the desired Chapters and assuage the aching yearnings of all of us who wait for our sweet opium dreams of saving Rome.
Jot! Speak! I languish in pain. I humbly beg for early release from this agony of desire. Desire that you created and only you can ease. Speak, I beg of you!
Not until March 30??

Chapter II... is... COMING!
( * Maximius Flavius - Sep 8, 2003 - 13:15 )
It is true! Not tomorrow, not even very very soon, but the S.P.Q.R. Chapter II will be open for us all, if all goes well, to honour the AW Beta Launch Anniversary on March 30!!!
This kind of time table will give Olympus the needed time to prepare, and, for us all, something to wait for - perhaps Chapter III can then be added a year from now *praying and hoping*
Congratulations to all!

Congratulations to all the winners!!!! It was wonderful reliving SPQR once again!
I would especially like to thank Jot for bringing it back and for giving us a wonderful place to play, Heraklia for all her incredible work (where does she get the energy?) and Max for his tireless effort and great enthusiasm (and who sent a rescue party in for those of us stuck in the sewers). And to everyone else who made this festival a success! Congrats to all. er...ah...Camilla, do you think you could spare a few stcs from your winnings?
Congratulations To All!!

And thank you Jot for bringing S.P.Q.R. back to Ancient Worlds! It is my first time at it and it is very challenging to say the least. I enjoyed being a part of the fun though, and will come and play more often.
As a former member (Patron) of Ancient Sites I must say that AW is a vibrant and lively community and I'm glad to be back "Home".
What a surprise!!!

And let me add my thanks too

Jot, this is a remarkable game :) What a lot of hard work it must have been to create it! SPQR has been a pleasure to play...and one day I feel sure I'll finish it ;) I was one of those unfortunates who missed it at AS.
To all you made this so much fun...kudos, kudos...et al! My cup brimmeth over - it's downright gorgeous and I thank the kind soul who whacked it up on my domus wall :) I'll be sure to use when I down all that Falernian, Heraklia ;) Cheers all!
Oh my!
( * Camilla Lucretius - Sep 7, 2003 - 22:03 )
I'm going to need a new shelf for all these goodies! Herky, if that doesn't get the men to my domus, then nothing will! *LOL*
LOL - check out Camilla's loot!
( * Heraklia Aelius - Sep 7, 2003 - 22:00 )
If we have an honorary SPQR Mega-Talent, look at the stuff hanging on her wall!
