We had a LOT of fun with this. We had several teams, including:

FOR ORIENT - Monkey King and the Jade Warriors, a team comprising Feiyan Zhou (captain), Shibori Murasaka, and the fearsome Sun Wukong Tang (the Monkey King). FIRST PLACE WINNERS!

A two-way tie for SECOND PLACE between the Dawgs Team (Skyros Lysias and Winestained One Lysias) and ROME (Anticus Cornelius, Captain and Varius Cicero)!!

And a THIRD PLACE tie between Seti Ptolemy and Hekenu Khafre, playing individually but both taking their winnings home to Egypt!

Now, finally, some people can't gram and award prizes at the same time. Through my laughing my *** off while chatting with the winners, I accidentally awarded a third-place prize to Feiyan Zhou, and not the glory of 1st place (split among teammates). She said not to worry about it, since I can't re-award the cash! But to her, goes 1/3 of the glory :)

THE SUBJECTS for tonight's blow-out will include past Goldfests, but with some history thrown in just to keep everyone in stride! Thanks to ApilIshtar who came up with the participant plaque - so yes, even if you blow each and every question about Aztec signage and Oriental art, you can STILL look like you've got a Brain! (thanks, dear)
