 How I Came to be Here

I left my home of Dun Uaid near Ard Macha with my chief, Aodhan, and an onterage of bardagh, scribes, and warriors such as myself on a circuit of Leath Cuinn. We were headed south and near the boarder with Leath Mogha, near the emerging fifth kingdom, Mide, when we were set upon by a group of what appeared to be Leinstermen. It was nothing, really. They seemed content on harrassing us for the morning. My people held back, but I pursued the attackers into the forest. I was on their trail when I sensed something coming from the right... CRACK!
I woke with a splitting headache and a foggy memory of a woman standing over me, but I was alone now. I was also on the west side of the river Shannon. Strange. I decided to keep heading west toward the land of my birth, the land of Niall. I thought some answers might be found there; get drink with some friendly faces at the very least. Oh, Lugh! Why did I go charging blind into the wood like that? Who was that woman in my thoughts? Is there a sign to be seen there? A message to be had? I descended down a goat path to Lough n\'Oirbsen and followed the shore north...
