What better way to know the Ancient Egyptians, than to gain knowledge of their native language? Complex concepts about a culture are communicated through language - language is a key to understanding a little about these ancient people.

Ancient Expressions hopes to provide an environment which will encourage and foster the development of knowledge of hieroglyphic, hieratic, demotic and Coptic scripts. Knowledge of the historical development of these scripts and an understanding of Kemetian linguistics would help us all achieve that end. Active teaching and learning on all these aspects can only pave the way to greater understanding.
