 A New Colony

Here follows a background story for the roleplay posted by Louis Marie Brigantes.
In early 21th century the violent climatological changes made life on Earth nearly impossible, Global warming, the Ocean level raising and flooding populated areas, Class 5 Hurricanes becoming common; In this total chaos an alien race, the Nulonians, made contact with New Era Corp. one of the biggest real state corporations in the world, being both merchants they got along well, the deal was simple, New Era Corp. was to buy small planets (astral colonies) to be populated by humans, the Nulonians had made them inhabitable precisely to sell it to humans building copies of earth cities (adding a bit of their own thecnology).
With goverments falling appart New Era Corp. allied itself with criminals and corrupt politicians to stael every bit of gold from the arks of the different goverments and the world bank, every ton of gold would mean several thousand people goin to colonize the new worlds under the orders of New Era Corp. or "The Corporation" as it was also called, The Corporation became the ruler of the colonies, taxes should be paid to them so they would keep paying to the Nulonians, their worlds, their rules, New Era Corp. became a corrupt tyranny and from there came the revolution, In AC-2106 (astral colony-2106) the revolution was succesful and a Human-Nulonian theocracy was established, based on the cult of Nulon (from this god comes the name of the alien planet), the fanatic polytheists let the people worship the god they like as long as they bow to Nulon too, and there's a strong moral code just opposite to the too liberal lifestyle of The Corporation.
The rebel group F.I.S.T. (Forces of Independent Soldiers and Teams) reavealed some secrets about New Era Corp. including a list of the people they had to kill in order to get the gold, but a still more terrible secret is yet to be revealed
The Nulonians look like humans and they too have races and social classes but they trade with several other races that look nothing like humans, the story is open to robots, droids, aliens, bounty hunters and anything you like, it might start with a bounty hunter chasing a "terrorist" from F.I.S.T.
