Teeming with life, the Subura bustles throughout the day and night, from the street-corner
cauponae where dockworkers drink away their aches and pains to its crowded
insulae, apartments where poorer Roman families crowd in under the eaves and wealthier equestrians luxuriate in ground-floor suites.
The Subura is all about life, so let's live it to the fullest!

Floralia, or Florifertum, is commonly celebrated April 29th - May 3rd. This year we will celebrate this traditional Roman festival at AW from April 28-April 30 on this topic. Please take a look at the schedule. We hope every member can and will participate!
