IONA DRUID ENCLAVE


Other than the name of the hill in the south-central part of the Isle of Iona, there is scant evidence of a Druidic presence on the near-barren island. A few tumbled rocks scattered about the summitt of Cnoc Druidean are all that is left of what may have been their "Stone Circle". Of the trees which formed their Sacred Grove, none have survived the need for wood as a fuel and building material.
