A place for displaying works of art along with poems inspired by and about them. A place also for quiet meditation on and inspiration from, the justaposition of a poem and a visual artwork. For in some cases, the reverse happens, the poem inspiring the art. In the former case, the technical term for describing a visual work of art in a poem is "ekphrasis" - a word so mangled in its ancient, & modern usage, and so ugly in sound, I hope never to mention or see it here again! (But useful in googling for examples!) Let's also include the pairing of a poem & an artwork that share a common subject, theme or event, whether real, historical, or mythical.
