From the Bog of Allen to the sea, the River Boann (Boinne) winds its
way through some of the richest lands in Eire. Passing near Tara
(Temhair) and through the Brugh ná Boinne, it is shadowed by the Hills
of Slane, Knowth, Newgrange and Dowth. It is calm and peaceful,
harboring an abundance of fish and eels.
