The festivities will begin on Thursday 18th of September, at 18:00 AW Time and will continue until Monday 22nd of September, 21:00 AW Time.
Please follow these links to sign up for the Renaissance Faire of 2008 Events.
There are cash prizes at stake, so be sure to sign up!

The rules for all contestants are quite simple.
Anyone may enter, be it a patron, member of admin, citizen or newbie.
No special favours will be paid to anyone and all judges (for poetry, jester, quiz and heraldry contests) will remain secret so no one can be bribed with expensive whiskey or cyber cookies.
As for the two tournament contests (the Joust and the Hand To Hand Combat) you should all know that the winners are determined by a program and cannot be manipulated by the marshals.
This is all explained in the rules that have been posted here: Rules and Explanations.

We recommend that you read through the rules of the games that you wish to enter.
You will be able to find them all in the following links.

Now, when it comes to prizes, well that is a bit tricky.
As previously mentioned, anyone may enter but not all will be able to win.
As the rules of games state, any scribes of Germanic descent, demigods, cybergods, or administrators of the games (such as Desdemona and any of her personas) will not be able to accept any cash prizes but will of course receive special mentions and pretty tokens.
This is based on the fact that we have been organising the games and some of us will act as judges. In fairness to any of the other members entering, any entries on our part will; therefore, not be eligible for winnings.

If you have any questions at all do not hesitate to ask either Desdemona Eurimedon, Scarleth MacRoth or Attila The Hun . They will all be happy to help you. Well, Attila will grumble about it but never give in to that. Its just his way of saying he likes you.
