The Outer Court of a temple was the place where commoners could visit in order to seek out advice from priests or leave offerings to their deities. Many times here were also small shrines of other deities than the templeīs main one, which could be visited by anyone visitor. It was also here that people waited for the Sacred Barks to come out of the temples on festival days.
At the Outer Court of Per Ankh, letīs focus on the basic principles of the ancient Egyptian religion, like the founding concepts of Maat and Kingship, the philosophy behind the Afterlife and such things.
