Happy GoldFest, Egypt!!!

This GoldFest promises to be one of a kind in Egypt! Peeps behind the scenes have been working hard to grant you a fun yet very educational experience. You will tour the life of Akhenaten; have to dig your way out of some tombs; find new hoods, indulge in some trivia and more. Our GoldFest day is Friday, October 19 - we hope to see you in Egypt!

• Egypt GoldFest 2007 - Our main planning thread for Goldfest. Keep an eye on it for updates and announcements.
• The hood of Akhet-Aten (El-Amarna) will be unveiled and there will be an article series on the Amarna period to go with it. There will also be an Amarna period quiz.
• Tomb exploring and trivia at the Valley of The Kings. Trivia will revolve around the theme of - what else? - how to get into, and out of, the Underworld. If you've ever wondered what it's like on the Other Side, this is your chance to secure Eternal Life for yourself!
