Goldfest 2007: Vandal-izing Germania!
Have we got a line-up of fun for you this year. Germania's Goldfest day is Sunday October 14, so mark your calendars. Our Goldfest theme for 2007 is Vandal-izing Germania! and it is sure to be a sensation!

In the works as of publication is a Tour of the Hoods which will study Vandal migrations. The tour will include the districts of Tolosa and Lugdunum.
If you're in more of a literary mood, we'll be hosting a writing contest based on the Sack of Rome. Contestants will pick a name from the list of the major players from the Sack of Rome and write a post about the two weeks of occupation by the Vandals as historically as possible.
In addition to these events there will be a quiz on the Vandals, and Amalasuntha will take a break from baking bread to write a Vandal Travel Blog.
