Goldfest in the Orient
The Orient's Day during this year's Goldfest will be Wednesday, 17 October. As our day draws closer, please check the
Orient Festival Guide for details, times and places.
The Autumn Moon Puppet Theatre
The highlight of your day in the Orient will be your visit to The Autumn Moon Puppet Theatre, which will showcase the puppetry styles and stories of five different Asian cultures. The plays will be presented throughout the day. The last show of the evening will be the shadow puppets, since they are traditionally held at night. Join us afterwards for what looks to be a real blow out wrap party where you can meet the playwrights and drink with the puppeteers.

A Most Urgent Quest
The famous onmyoji, or medium, Abe no Seimei has lost an object of great importance. If it is not found, then a terrible calamity will occur. Are you willing to brave the hazards of the spirit world to help him recover it? Come and join the hunt during Goldfest!
There's More of Course
During the theatre intermissions, you can take a boat tour on China's Grand Canal. We'll have several new articles, and perhaps even a new quiz. So do come join us as we celebrate Goldfest V in the Orient!
