A little clearing

I was looking for a new harp, metal strung in the old manner ... I followed the links, like stepping stones and found myself viewing the harps of one William Macdonald of Skye. It was exactly what I was seeking. I followed his stepping stones also, and found myself transported to this realm of the ancients. So I became a member. Again, I followed the stones and found myself in the entrance of the home of Maebh. It was a place that I felt I had already been ... long ago. I found a familiarity not only with old heritage, but my new homeland as well. I live in the rainforest of Northeast NSW, Australia. Is this coincidence, I thought? Well, if you know anything about coincidences ... you would know that they don't truly exist! I offered a blessing to the Mother of us all.
An gheal beaneicht, Maebh. It is good to have found myself at your door. I have just found and joined Ancient Worlds and, like yourself, live in Australia (although my heart still dwells in my homeland). I have a good little home though. A simple solar powered cottage on a small, rainforest community of 16 shareholders in Northern NSW.
It is strange how things occur sometimes. You follow a path through a forest of occurences in life. Occasionally, though the forest may be full of shadows, there are always clearings to stop and rest the mind for awhile. Places to empty your self of thoughts and simply sit with a little harp and respond to the birdsong that surrounds you. I found a little clearing today. Namaste and blessings always to you and your kin, RowanOak Brigantes |
