Hello my fellow Egyptians!
I really wanted to open this edition with a good April Fool's joke. Unfortunately
I'm just not that creative with practical jokes, and what is ironic is that my son was born
on April 1st...but he's pretty funny, perhaps he's my contribution to this day.
Anyhow, Happy Spring and April Fools Day! There is plenty to report on, not just for Egypt at large but for AW in general, I hope to have this pack full of information to keep you up to speed.

Easter Egg Hunt
Poor Asenath is the patron of the Easter Bunny whose name is Harold (who would have thunk it?). Well, it turns out that Harold lost his Easter Eggs, and so Harold and Asenath need your help to find them all! Be warned it will test your creativity and resolve, but should be fun for us all! Bast Festival
The Festival of Bast is scheduled for May 15-19, and the planning board is up and ready, come join everyone and help make it a wonderful and eventful celebration.

What's Cooking?
If one carefully looks at every celebration sitewide here at AW you will realize we all revel in sharing recipes. Thank the gods that Maria Marius and Heraklia Aelius realized that fact and together created a brainchild that every member of
of AW can participate in, it is the Ancient Worlds Cookbook! No membership is required, everyone can participate and share
their favorite recipes or ask for cooking tips. It is in its infancy, but something tells me the board will be smoking
