A New Year at Ancient Worlds
Welcome to 2007 in the Ancient World!
This ACTA DIURNA is chock-full of news, not only what has happened in the past two months, but what's coming up. There were quite a few holiday parties to keep everyone busy! Rome celebrated its Saturnalia, Hellas had its Brumalia; Germania's Yule reminded us where many loved traditions of Christmas come from, and The Americas sweetened our holiday celebrations with chocolate. And as usual, we're ready to continue partying in February and beyond. (Thankfully, it's much more restful to recover here in the virtual world than in real life!)
Our contributors and editors - including our two newest world editors ApilIshtar Etana and Damon Harmodios - have done their usual expert work, so curl up and read this month's ACTA. From all of us to all of you - enjoy!
