Portico Garden
Perhaps because, in my youth, we did not own a country estate, I have always particularly loved gardens. As you know, I plan to leave my extensive gardens in Transtibertina to the people when my time comes. I also have extensive gardens on the Viminal Hill which I offer to the people of Rome as a public walk.

But here, hidden in the heart of the Subura, I spend as much time in the open air as I and my visitors can bear.

The Dying Gaul

Here I display some of my private sculptures. This one in particular has a resonance for me - it is known from the Greek original as the Dying Gaul.
