Ramses' Great Move
The 83 ton colossal statue of Ramses II has stood watch over Ramses Square in Cairo for over fifty years, but environmental hazards that occur in a busy and congested area were causing the ancient statue to deteriorate; so it was decided that he should be moved to a more tranquil and healthy environment about one mile from the Giza Pyramids, and near the future site of the Grand Museum of Egypt. Neighborhoods
This summer quite a few changes have been made in Egyptian neighborhoods. For one thing you can now move in and buy that
iwyt you've always hankered for! That's not all though. The Egyptian world has decided to cross link groups with 'hoods wherever appropriate. An obvious example can be seen in the pet-friendly
Per Bastet, where the group
Nine Lives has been added as the 'hoods "official sponser" (see the group logo in the sponser box to the left). For more changes, updates and a place to make suggestions, stop by our
