Success!
A resounding success is the only way to describe Springfest! Kudos and pats on the back to all the hard workers who made AncientWorld's last Springfest a party to remember! Recognition and thanks also goes out to all in Celtia who also put together a spectacular Beltaine 2006. Last, and certainly not least, to everyone who took part in the events held by Celtia, the Americas, Egypt and Rome, thank you for participating!

In the WTP:Survival of the Fittest event, brought to Springest and Beltaine by the group, We The People, congratulations go to Teams #2 and #3 for a tie in the overall event and to Team #3 for winning the popular vote. Be sure to take a look at the full results and excellent plaques the teams received.

Everyone had great fun getting tipsy with the Tipsy Spring Teaser put together by Meri Brigantes, Fedelm Cruithni and Jacque Elliott Cruithni and with art made by Shanti Ashoka. Yours truly got a perfect 10 and if you believe that, you definately are still more than a little tipsy. *wink* For Katlyne MacRoth's interesting little King's Quiz, yours truly has been pronounced to be Brennus the Terrible, adding more fuel to Cornellia's firey conviction that yours truly is less than angelic. It's not too late to take either quiz if you've not already so be sure to check out both of them!

Another activity that's not too late to partipate in is Shining Heroes of the AncientWorlds. It is never too late to praise someone who's made your time at AW special. If you are the more quiet, shy type and don't want to post for all of AW to see, pick up one of the plaques provided on the thread and drop it off at your hero's or heroine's home.

Two Beltaine events you can still participate in are the Bite the Bannock and Do You Know Your Celtic Heroes, originally listed simply as Beltaine Quiz. The bannock blessing yours truly got was May your cattle's horns always touch heather and another perfect ten of course *wink* on the heroes quiz. (If you've not yet taken it, here's a hint: Fionn mac Cumhaill’s martial arts tutor was not David Carradine, Grasshopper.) Celtia thanks Meri Brigantes, Jacques Elliott Cruithni and Fedelm Cruithni for putting the quiz together and Arianell Cruithni for her wonderful artwork. Another huge thanks goes to Shanti Ashoka for creating the Beltaine bannock and participant plaque.

More congratulations are extended to everyone who participated in the Three Roads of Echtrai event held in Emhain Abhlach. Have a look at the different plaques and who was awarded each on the THE VOTES ARE IN! post by Abhlach Cruithni.

Another huge success was the Where's Wallace game. This creative game, both a tour of neighborhoods and a treasure hunt, earned Celtia a Gems of the AncientWorlds award!

Well done, Celtia, well done!

Family and Hood Plaques
If you'd like to display a family crest or plaque in your home, check out the Celtia Family Plaques thread at the The Hall of Clans and Tribes board. There is a nifty, clickable index to for plaques and crests that have been created. If your family doesn't have one yet, either try your hand at creating one or post putting out a call for someone skilled at creating images.

Going hand in hand with having a family plaque is having a neighborhood plaque. The project to make them is still a work in progress. The ones created so far are all gorgeous and are available for home display. Find the index of neighborhoods plaques, with clickable links on the Celtia Neighborhood Plaques thread, also located on the The Hall of Clans and Tribes board.
