Welcome to Ancient Worlds and the Hellenic World!
Whether you are
brand new to the site, or a returning member from
Ancient Sites, there is so much to see and do, and so
many people to meet! We citizens of the Hellas
Welcoming Committee are here to help you get a good
start to exploring this wondrous site. <br>

Begin by taking a look at our <a class="welcome"
href="http://www.ancientworlds.net/aw/Article/65518"
target="_blank">Welcome to Ancient Worlds</a> site
guide. Here you will
find a wealth of information on how to navigate the
site. Also take a look at the communications panel
(the separate, smaller window to your left). It
provides a link to your homesite (at the top) and the
homesites of other citizens currently online with you.
Also beside their names, is a link, "gram", which
serves as one method of communication with other
citizens online. If you have any questions about the
site, feel free to “gram” any of the scribes that are
online when you are. They are always happy to answer
your questions, and you can always talk with them even
if you’ve reached your gram limit. <br>

You will also want to take a look at the site’s Daily
Index, also known
as <a class="welcome"
href="http://www.ancientworlds.net/aw/BoardsCentral"
target="_blank">Boards Central</a>. On it, you will
find the latest
site updates and events, a listing of the main boards,
and the latest
postings on them. This is a great way to learn more
about your fellow citizens. As you run across people
you would like to get to know, click on their names,
and visit their homes where you can leave a brief
message of introduction.

Next, you may wish to set up your personalized Ancient
Worlds homepage.
You may make your way home by clicking on your name at
the top of the
communications panel, or on it at the top left of
whatever site page
you find yourself. The decor is based on the city you
have chosen, but like the avatar, you may “decorate”
it as you please with
different images. Sources of Hellenic avatars and art
for decorating
your home can be found on the <a class="welcome"
href="http://www.ancientworlds.net/aw/Thread/447836"
target="_blank">Living in Hellas</a> thread.

Now you are ready to begin exploring your home region
