Dias De Los Muertos
In Americas, we've just come from celebrating Dias De Lost Muertos, an Aztec-based festival, with fun and reflection. Features such as Ask Cat, and the Celtic Pub Crawl segment in The Inn of the Blue Macaw were a big hit. We also exhibited the art of Patrick & Kathy Cano Murillo, very seasonally appropriate. A lot of work and planning came about through the efforts of Bryce Yupanqui and ChanChan Tupac, the latter of whom created a most delectable (yet strange) menu for the Inn.
A Scribal Welcome
First off, we want to welcome Apo Mayta Huacac into Scribedom in the New World. Currently, he's the local Sex God (it says so at his home), and he has a knack for graphics and design, and enjoys doing research on South America. He'll be off to Spain for studies in the next semester, but otherwise will be delving deeply into the Americas. Wave at him when you see him.
Future Plans
Mark the dates of December 10th and 11th on your calender. On the second weekend of that month The Americas is planning an as-yet unnamed Winter Mini-Fest. Details to follow! If you wish to help out in any way, contact any one of our Worlds' three scribes.
