What's New in Rome There has been some hard work in the Roman World lately: hard work in the (at the moment 57) groups of the Roman World and of course many preparations to make this year's Roman Springfest an unforgettable one! See below for more on the great event. Several new groups have been created, in spite of Rome being huge in groups already and things going as they go: nice and easy. You could almost say that there is a group in Rome for everything, like the saying goes: Romae omnia venalia! Ancient Worlds' Springfest in Rome in retrospect What a wonderful Springfest celebration it was! Rome was all flowers and gaiety! See for the wonderful party and all the things to do we enjoyed here! Special praise was won for the Tour of Rome by Heraklia Aelius, who won a Bronze Best Springfest Award! This Springfest edition was rich on quizzes, tours, hunts and for the first time since some years, an academic article contest was held which had a modest but promising result of 5 entries, out of which the jury could choose three winners! Our divine Heraklia, who created several nice Springfest items this year, closed up the festival with the idea of linking various nice items of this Springfest to the Roman Neighborhood Pages, which will certainly be done. All in all, we can conclude that this Springfest was one of the best in years! Many thanks to those, who helped this year's Springfest in the Roman World to be a success: ![]() Heraklia Aelius (Tour of Rome, a Day at the Races and the Scavenger Hunt 'Catch the King!'), Senex Caecilius (Tour of the Circus Maximus and the Roman Monarchy Quiz), Publius Fabius Scipio (Roman History Quiz), Tanaquil Sergius (Roman Article Contest), Calpurnia Caesar (Roman Cookery Quiz), Shanti Ashoka for her marvellous work on the graphic presentation of this year's Roman Springfest and Cornellia Cornelius for being there when it mattered. Last, but not least, many, many thanks to all the people who joined us in our celebrations and who played and enjoyed the party!
