The Code of Hammurabi
is the earliest known legal code in its entirety.
Virtual Valentine's Day Celebrated!
First Place - Ashnan Etana's "You
Lift My Heart" Our second contest consisted of a two-part Trivia Quiz with, of course, the theme being Valentine's Day, love and romance. Ole Caily here must have created a toughie since we had no perfect scores *eg*, but I've gotta say the folks who participated didn't do too shabby. ;) You can check out the posts for the Card Creation contest here and for the Trivia quiz here. Thanks to all who participated in both contests!! And deep thanks to Bryce Yupanqui, Cornellia Cornelius, Persia Xerxes, and Alerissa Nestor for such sweet assistance! Mesopotamia was tinkled pink to have you all visit us! A gift of roses and chocolate to all you ladies! :)
The Confederacy Expands its Horizons
Who said bats can't talk?
Its just not surprising to this little Kash Bowl Bum, but
there's now a freakin' BAT
hanging out at the place talking 'bout stills, pyrotechnics, and squirmy
things (ugh!). Don't ask Caily about it, cos she's clueless! Just go on
down to the Kash
Bowl! Watch out for the prone bodies on the floor (like, especially,
Apil's) and bring $$ cos the drinks are only free now and then!
And keep an eye on that Tiamat
chic......she really wants to know about Whatshername! yikes! that might
just be TMI!
