Celebrating the Winter Solstice!

Welcome to our second edition of the ACTA DIURNA, newspaper of AncientWorlds. Our December 1 deadline brings us to one of my favorite times of year at AW . . . when everyone is in an ancient holiday mood, festivities range across time and space, parties are common, contests are frequent, and there's enough virtual booze floating around to hold up the whole ancient world - like Atlas, or perhaps Dionysius!

We again present one page for each world, and you may pick and choose from the many happy events celebrating this month in which we cheer the darkness with ancient light.
