New Feature ~ Neighborhoods

TyreArch.JPGMesopotamia's new neighborhoods opened on October 3, 2004! It was an exciting day as this new AncientWorlds feature became available to all citizens. Mesopotamia's 'hoods, which we call "City-States" are as follows:

Please feel free to browse through our neighborhoods! Also note that our 'hoods are still an evolving work and we are currently seeking "City Builder" volunteers to assist in their evolution. Should you be interested, please leave one of the Mesopotamian Scribes a scroll at their domus.

King ornament Mesopotamia is honored to be hosting an AW-wide chat on November 5, 2004 at 8:00 p.m. AWT (EST)! We're very excited to be hosting this event....well, cos we get to drink a lot and eat a lot...not to mention hang with friends and make new ones. *grin* All are invited and you can even sign up beforehand here! We've already got some victims *coughs*....er, some fine folks signed up! *wink*

We are continuing our trivia game in Mesopotamia! Have a question you think will stump us? Know the answer to a current question? Come on by and join in! All are welcome!

Innocuous Ostrich with wicked feet!Needing a break from serious historical thought and research? We have just the place to come hang out and let loose all your stresses, worries, and headaches -- the infamous Kash Bowl of Mesopotamia! A few things to keep in mind when visiting that den of iniquity....er, that fine establishment....Apil has a strong tendency to mooch for free bowls of kash; the bartender, Caileadair (yours truly), is a big mischief-maker; and wellllll, the other regulars (i.e., Lotus, Tomi, Tiggy, and Ishtar) are quite "colorful" as well! Bring yer money, park yer camels outside, please step kindly over prone bodies, and no boisterous rioting allowed inside! Watch out for the ostriches....they can get rather trigger-itchy with their feet (yeah, just like the shin-kickin' Caily! *grin*)

Come on, come on.....we know yer just dying of curiosity, so come on by and get yer 15 minutes of fame (or infamy!) at the Kash Bowl! Don't know what kash is? Apiladey has been gracious enough to explain it ALL to us here!

Our intrepid, and ever hilarious, Leah Enkidu has brought the Babylon Beat to new heights with her latest edition! I've got to say that there's just no other paper that can do good ole wacked-out Mesopotamia justice!

mwahahahahaNow where the heck is the Cup?? Oh yeah, and just where the heck is Zig hiding? The rumor mill believes he's stashed away with his blue pills in the Orient! Spill the beans! Inquiring minds want to know!!

By the way, you can share your appreciation for the Babylon Beat here!

For those interested specifically in Babylonian history, we'd like to recommend The Ancient City of Babylon.
