AW Citizen in the Spotlight
This month's Featured German is one of our Scribes: Odin Knudsson. New members of Germania should know that the scribes are here to help you get acclimated to our world. Odin is an important resource for new residents as well as for those of us who have been around a while. His work on the Fall Festival (his creative adverts were found World-round) helped make it a tremendous success. His high energy, flirty personality, and great computer skills help keep Germania the coolest place to be!

What's happening in Germania!

October has been quite a month for us. Ancient Worlds' new neighborhoods opened this month. For information on the Germanic Neighborhoods, see the Featured Article on the left by Odin Knudsson. We also celebrated the Germanian Fall Festival, called Aznodul, October 1 - 3.

Aznodul

There were several activities and contests held by Germanics. Beatrix Godwinson sponsored our Fall Hunt.Viking Artifact You can read her article about it in our Featured Articles section. Another popular event was the Barbarian Crossword Challenge. Bryce Yupanqui was kind enough to put the clues found by several Germanics into her cool program so that we could hold this contest. A big, big thank you to her as she was pretty sick at that time but still managed to get it going. Many people tried it, you can see a list here .

There were also three board activities scheduled this year. Ragnarok, the Nordanverdr Saga, and the drinking "contest" over at the Red Boar Tavern. Another of our residents, Aelfwine Scylding, wrote an article about Ragnarok. It is another of the Featured Articles at left. The Nordanverdr Saga wasn't as busy as the others, but it sure tickled my funny bone!

What can one say about the Red Boar Tavern drinking contest? The "winners" are announced here. There is still craziness going on around there; Odin is young again, there are monkeys and wolves roaming wild, and well - go see for yourself! There is always room to join in the fun and frolicking at the Red Boar!
