Groups
Q: How do I join a group?Go to the homepage of the group you're interested in and click on the Join the Group! link in the upper left (directly below where your name appears in the top masthead). You'll have to pay 250 stcs. (site cash) to join. Please note that this is not refundable.

- Novices & Citizens - 1 group
- Maximum Patrons - 3 groups
- Optimum Patrons - 12 groups

Q: How do I start my own group? (Patrons only)
(It's a good idea to ask around or post first, to see if others are interested in the topic.) Go to the homepage of the city/world where you want your group to be and look for the "Create a New Group" link in the righthand column (under the "Academic Centers" and "Historical R&R" tabs). Click and follow the instructions. Note: To create a group, you need to pay a virtual, non-refundable fee of 1,500 stcs.
Q: I joined a group days ago and I still can't post.
Sometimes it takes a while for group leaders to promote new members so they can post (maybe they're busy IRL and unable to log in every day, or have other duties here on the site). Please don't feel slighted. It happens! If you like, leave the leader(s) a note on their personal message board.
Q: If I am a patron and my subscription ends, do I have to resign from the groups I joined?
No, you will not be forced to resign from the groups you have already joined. Remember, though, that your posts will be more limited so it will be harder to participate in multiple discussion areas.
