New developments in Celtia's Fianna group
The Fianna of Celtia recently began reorganizing the group in an effort to further align ourselves with the traditional structuring of these roving warrior bands. Sub-groupings of "fians" or independent war bands are now being formed. The first to open a challenge for membership was the Rua Filidh Fian or Red Warrior Poets, of which I am proud to be a part. The second fian, quick to follow suit, was the Fian Samildanach or War Band of the All-Skilled. These sub-groups under the main Fianna group will give members the opportunity to focus their interests as well as compete with each other in encouragement of our single shared goal - the exploration of the myth, history and martial arts of the wandering bands of warriors first led by the famous Fionn Mac Cumhaill!
